Yet another tranny recode post: 2001 S8 code is 00102, wtf?

i just updated it with 00132 to activate the "sport" and "1st 'till redline in Tip" features. The 1st holds indeed until redline in Tip mode, but i fail to see any differences in term of shifting program from the "sport" setting, even if I usually drive fairly soft (so i thought my personal shifting program would be pretty "unsporty", thus seeing a big difference when coding for sport mode).
Anyway, did anybody ever figured what is the meaning of the "hundred" digit? I search the forums and could only come up with 'drhaller' tranny coding experiment which highlighted the thousand digit existence (but no idea on the effect), but no hundred digit info at all...
Thanks for any info.
Regards,
Martin

The default is either 00101 or 00102. If you attempt to recode the ECU, it'll simply revert back to the default when the ignition is turned off and back on.

difference with the original 00102 code, the 1st gear used to not hold in tip mode (auto shift to 2nd), now it does hold until redline.
