Zimmermann brake-disc to A8 ?

Re: Zimmermann brake-disc to A8 ?
I've x-drilled zimmermans on the front of my scirocco (11" G60 corrado upgrade) for years and also had them on the front/rear of my V8 quattro. They are a cheap price and never had a problem. Also, holes are small so no "x drill" vibration u get on some of the others!

I have them on my A6 with

Re: In front and rear?
I just have them in the fronts. Have done several high speed brake applications without a problem, i.e., no cracking around the holes. But I have never tracked the car, just autocrossed it.

Re: Are rear discs .....
my A8 is a '98 so it has the solid/non-vented disc on the back. I have seen them x-drilled a while ago for the 2000-up A8 and S8 drilled. Also my '90 V8Q had big vented disc in the rears and I got Zimmermann x-drilled so they do exist just harder 2 find :/
