Are the '05 A8L's out yet in the states? Does anyone have a definitive answer?

It is amazing to me that educated people accept computer issues as a fact of everyday life but expect different when computers are in control of a car where they MUST operate flawlessly . . .

but IMHO it may just be extra icing on an already iced cake! I mentioned in a previous post that Benz was discontinuing some computer-driven functions and that I though that this was a good idea. I still would not choose Mercedes but I would hope some of the philosphy would rub off onto Audi.

Porsche has no "cusotmer relations" with it's customers . . .their attitude is that they are doing you a favor letting you drive their cars. I have an exceptional relationship with my dealer (same dealer I bought my A8L from) and they we not able to get Porsche to deal with me. My love for the Porsche brand is completely gone. SEE the following site which is not mine. http://porsche.tosti.net/porscheLemon.asp

I hear you and like some of the gadetedry too . . .but I would gladly give some of them up if it would mean fewer trips to the dealer and less time in inferior loaner cars. I do believe that the manufacturers are starting to figure out that no matter how hard they try with excessive electronics comes excessive warranty repairs and unhappy customers.
