06 A8L Dash Problem
My 2006 A8L with 3200 miles on it has developed an instument panel prob. Tach,speedo & gas gauge
spike back and forth approx. 15 min into driving, gradually getting worse. Now dash lights gone OUT at night and when they returned MPG gauge is erradic, clock reset to 12:00.
Any similar problems like this???

Car has been in the shop for four days, apparently waiting for a new instrument cluster to come in....
I hope these tech guys know what they are doing taking the car apart.

Surprised to get a call from the dealership stating that the car repairs were complete. They had the car for a week on "parts hold". Apparently the dealer was unaware that the new instument cluster had been produced at the factory in Germany and was in transit. They had not gotten any confirmation that the cluster had been shipped after it was ordered, so they were surprised to see this in their deliveries. I guess this overall experience with the dash problem wasn't that bad considering the repair parts had to be made and shipped from the factory....
