Well, since my rear shade still operates fine it hasn't been moved to the list yet. I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time though.

ok I changed the serpentine belt since I was taking it off to check the pulleys anyways, and what I noticed is that the tensioner pulley was a little noisy.
so I ran the car and checked it with my automotive stethoscope and found that it sounds a bit noisier that the other 2 idler pulleys.(the others are smooth and this one sounds a little like there's sand in it0 so I'm thinking that when the car warms up maybe it affects the barring and it becomes louder, because I mostly hear the noise when the car is warm?

does anyone know if these are common to go?

I guess beauty is in the ear of the beholder in this case. I actually think it's kind of cool that the parking brakes adjust themselves automatically and get some reassurance when I hear the sound. My car is doing something that most other cars haven't considered as well.

I believe the parking brakes are supposed to recalibrate every 600 miles.
