Anyone know where to get the 20 inch sport wheels that are now an option on the new A8s? I know I could go to the dealer, but didn't know if someone here had found maybe a replica? Thx in advance!

Want to be sure what is being discussed:
The newest 2008 pictures from the post below seem to suggest they may be using the 9 spoke polished RS 20's again--like they did in 2006. That's what I am interested in, not for example the twin six set spokes like the 2007 wheels.

The original 20" 9 spoke wheel has been available continuously since 2003 on the D3 chassis. US cars will continue with the new 20" wheel introduced last year.
I can get the older style for you if interested.

The wheels that I want are the 20 inch sport wheels that look just like the standard RS4 wheels...if that makes sense

<a href="http://ak4-fr.audi.de/sat.do?mandant=ak4_us_en&page=showdetailimg&am p;infoid=a8-GPSTPST&mandant=ak4_us_en&is_sat=1&w=4 40&h=240&v_allitems=&v_serie=&v_ex tras=&v_accessories=&v_tech=&v_extras

Need 5 people to commit to the initial order to proceed.
$730 per wheel not including centercap. This is $130 off list.

The C5 A6 board is rife with postings about the dime a dozen relicas to the true RS wheels. Constant postings about bent rim this, screwed up rim that. Not so w/ the real McCoy's. The Audi ones are often on the heavier side, but there's a reason for that.
On the D3, I think only the OEM 19's are relatively light for their size. The 20's are porkers, and the 18's surprisingly heavy too. From 18 to 19 it comes down to cast vs. forged mostly. By 20 X 9, they are just plain a really big piece of metal, even if forged.
