Thank you so so much. Mission accomplished!

I've tried looking manual that comes with the VCDS but I still seem to be missing the 'theory' behind using the program. I can follow simple instructions (English and a cop, can't do complex things....) but seems that I keep having to ask what seem to be obvious questions... I'm trying not to just run to the forums every time I have an issue but I'm a little anxious not to 'brick' anything...

thanks guys, K9

Why not? That's what they're here for. I've actually learned quite a bit from this one.

Carry on...

Default For sure, me too....

I've learned loads too, just don't want to appear lazy.... I'm glad I'm 'knocking the corners' off my car, beginning to bond with it just a bit... LOL

having owned quite a few German cars, I always wondered at what point did the Engineers agree and get excited about how complicated they made the solution.

Given the D4 evolution in electronics, I can only imagine the fun we'll have when we jump into those cars in a few years and start to try and work through those complex mothers!!

K9 - nice work mate. I found this thread whilst trying to work out how to adjust one head light (my left one is waaaaaay to low after dropping the car via vag!
