2009 W12 Grill
I just purchased a certified preowned 2006 A8L and wanted to upgrade the grill to the 2009 W12 grill with the chrome like the A8 in transporter 3. I have been given mixed answer's as to whether it will fit or not from the dealer. Can anyone tell me if this will fit on my A8?

Yes you can - I believe your build date must be after 10/06. Here is the part #

About an hour labor. Get the 22s like this one and you will be set. Remove the S8 badge? That's a touchy subject as well it should be.

It will definately fit on a 2006 A8. . .
Make sure you specify auto cruise control or not as the grill part numbers are different depending on this option.

Hey thanks, yes i would definitely not keep a w12 or s8 badge on, dont like that.
hey but i am getting confused is the w12 and s8 grill the same? and in the new transporter movie its referred to as a w12 but chrome mirrors are for s8 right?
