5000+ RPM and the throttle cuts to 50%

Might be worth changing the fuel filter first. This might be causing problems too. Does the engine go above 5000 rpm when in neutral? If it does, then this would probably be a load issue. Also maybe see if it goes over 5000 rpm on a steep hill going down. See if it is based on the rpm or load on the engine.

So I was able to easily reach redline in neutral without any issues. Going down hill (which it wasn't an insane grade) seemed less stressful on it, but it still lagged in that 5K+ range but it was almost like a sputtering 'not getting the fuel I want' kind of feeling. Sounds like if there is in fact a secondary fuel pump that is only for higher RPM's then that could be the case.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. $12 + outside of the fuel tank labor sounds nice. Could be the reason it is sputtering rather than not working at all, hopefully.

Any resolution? I have one doing similar, but worse pulling the throttle <50 as early as 3500. Timimg pull in block 20 & 21 are pegged. Fuel quality is good and logging block 31 shows proper fueling. Software is stock
