starting to look around for mildly used A8, prefer 05-06, say <20k miles.
looks like 05's in that mileage range can be had well below 50k now.
anyone have an idea where dealer auction prices are going thru at?
thanks..

I started paying attention a few weeks ago when my wife said "I think that I would like my next sedan to be an Audi A8." ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Summer activities and the school year start have kept me pretty busy. However, I have been watching the used market a lot recently. I want nothing earlier than an '05. The problem is that Atlanta really only has two Audi dealers, so there are very few used A8s on the market here.
These are my must-have options, so I will probably be looking for a while:
* Mid-year 2005 or newer (must have Bluetooth)
* Night Blue Pearl Effect
* Sand Beige Leather interior
* Premium Package
After that, I have a lot of "would like to haves," but I will not be too picky if I can find the right car. So far, it looks like dealers are trying to ask $55K - $60K for a 2005. However, I am seeing a lot of used 2004 cars sell for around $39K - $42K, so I would expect that a 2005 should sell below $50K.

Just got my notice on my '05 A8-L lease for turn in. Lease expires Nov. 1 and the cash payment to keep it is around $56K. Have 19,000 miles on it with the follwing:
Blk exterior
Beige interior
Nav
Adaptive Cruise
Sun roof
Auto door closers
other stuff
Interesting what they are going for at auction. Think I'll let it go and see what it does at auction.
Hmmmmm.

I just picked mine 05' A8L with 19K miles for 41.5K. Had to spend another 1K to ship it back to Denver from the Riverside California auction.
P.S...I'm so lovin' it. Had 2001 A8 SWB and thought I was the badass in the cul de sac until I got this one.
