The mobridge unit all fits behind the glovebox. it will give you BT that looks and functions just like Audi OEM as well as Ipod,Aux and retain the CD changer. it ties into the most ring at the changer and has it's own microphone that we run to above the rearview mirror. You will need the newer MMI software and the dealer will need to enable your car the same way they would for a car with OEM BT. I have more of these kits coming and will happily ship them please contact me for more info.

The dealer programmed the car for me. I know that it takes the latest software isc for the MMI and some adjustments in With the VAG-COM they charged my customer $50 for the programming. I am not sure what the MMI Software dic costs. I will check to see on th BB what model is it?

I've been searching the forums for similar info. Just purchased a 2004 A8L and wanting to install BT/ipod.
Trying to compare the MoBridge unit to the Denison Gateway 500 plus BT adapter. Purchase price looks pretty similar, but it's not clear what differences in capability, interface, and install difficulty there might be.
Anyone out there have any first hand experience?
Thanks!

If you are looking for ipod and BT the Mobridge is a much better choice. They use parrot BT and it clones the OE Audi system. Installation is the same for both systems. You will need to update the MMI software and have the car programmed for the Telephone. 04-04 A8' do not recognize BT in the MOST ring until the Vag-com is used to turn them on.
