I'm sure this was covered a million times, but I've just started having problems with my '06 A8L that I've had for five years now. Suspension lights(green and amber) both started flashing and basically the car is on the ground. It's almost undriveable. I also have an S8 front bumper on the car so that of course makes it near impossible to even get out of my driveway. I'm stuck driving my wife's Suburban and hoping that this isn't a repair that's going to cost me a small fortune. I love the car, and it only has about 50,000 miles on it...Would love to keep it for another couple of years...Thanks for any help,
Greg

You'll need to put 1000 miles on the car with Bruce's warranty and the car will need to be inspected. I went through this with an M5 that had a bad SMG pump (6k repair).
Not an option unfortunately but there are common problems with the system that aren't expensive to repair. If all of the struts are deflated then you're most likely not dealing with a single bad strut which is an expensive repair. You could be dealing with a leak in the system or a bad compressor.
Take it in and have it diagnosed. Once you've done that post back what the problem is and someone here can probably help you find the offending part for less than new.

I am having the same issue with my '05 A8L W12. Looks like the front right strut is leaking air and must be replaced. Does anyone know how difficult a job this is? I found a place near Miami that has the strut (rebuilt) for $650. New is over $1400 each. I would like to do this myself and save the money but have never tackled this type of repair. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board.
You have to be little more sure than "looks like" before you start changing $1K+ parts. Leak can be somewhere on the line, or valve block can be faulty. Soapy water is good tool for the purpose.
$650 is not that cheap for a boot and few o-rings. Shock absorber is core and can be worst then yours.

Good luck with that. I've had the same symptoms on my 2004 A8L twice now. First time was in 2010, when I was still under warranty, and the dealer said it was the left front air strut. Replaced by warranty. I just had it happen again 2 weeks ago. This time they said it's the right one. Cost of the repair, roughly $2400. I need a new warranty if I'm gonna keep my car for a few more years. :-(
