Default Air Supension Continued....

OK, well replacing the relay seemed to work......for 2 days. Then the light came back on. Can't find the fuse (if there is one)and I cant seem to find any info on the site on which fuse it is. The 2007 has the relay under the dash/steering wheel. The Euro cars seem to have it in the floor under the carpet. I am brining the car into a specialist this week to bench test the compressor and struts to nail down the issue.

Is there a fuse somewhere too? If so where is it? I see a 90A, 50A and some metal 30A fuses. The relay is a temp fix until the car gets into a shop. Utimately, I think I am looking at a new compressor & Strut.

There is a glue smell coming from the A/C vents when the suspension is leveling itself on a slope, which indicate that the compressor is bad.

FYI, the relay is a $8 part at Napa. You dont need to go to the dealer for the relay.

If the fuse was bad, you would have no power, period.
so check the compressor yourself to see if it is running spotty, shaking or slow, and get one on-line and install it in less then an hour, instead of losing $$$$.$$ .

Also when the compressor is bad, it runs on for extended period of time trying to achieve height, also the temp sensor on the compressor sends signal to cut power on a overheated compressor, and the relay overheats and gets sticky, also as you still have power, the fuse has not blown.

Are fuses above, and fuses to the side. The above fuse is 90a and 50a, an the side fuses are metal 30a. None Of which are 40a. There is a fuse block on the right side in the trunk that looks like the ones on the euro cars, with 40a, but those were ok.

Hello,
Your compressor does turn on and run correct ?
Then your fuse is good, it is a fuse, not a circuit breaker, therefore the fuse cannot reset itself, it is either blown or not, and since you have stated that the compressor comes on then you have power.

You have had a few threads on this same subject and have been told to check the compressor by a few, have you ?
Please go out and listen to the compressor and let us know what it sounds like, it should be a nice even fast running pump, if it is slow or sounds like fast/slow/fast/slow, and vibrating or shaking like intermittent power, please report.

Just an FYI, it is the orange fuse directly above the two relays with the "370" markings.

Any chance the NAPA (Never Any Parts Available) relay is a Chinese part and possibly of poor quality? Pop the cover off and check for poor CONtacts.

Noise from the compressor? It is just in front left front wheel. It is easy to hear it clearly.

If that second video is your Dynamic you are ready for Baja Rally.
