Did the adaptation again but the indy did not have Ross Tech and simply reset the height to factory settings which I don't prefer. The original problem is still there but less noticeable so I'm not going to bother. However, now I need to find someone with Ross Tech in Manhattan to re-adapt the height to my preferences. If anyone knows of any places with Ross Tech in Manhattan, please let me know. Thanks again for everyone's help. I will also post on NY region forum...

I watched him try to do it. There did not seem to be a way to change the factory coding. Tried it four times, but there was no option to alter/reprogram the 0015510. The 34 control screen just said that this was the automatic setting. The screen looked different than VAG Com, with different prompts, etc, and we couldn't figure it out. If anyone has the VAS instructions, I can just go back to them and redo it...

Did the adaptation again with Vag Com and all four wheels were the right height. However, after driving it a bit, the problem is back. The front wheels are consistent height (although have raised by 5mm or so since the calibration), but the height of the rear wheels is constantly changing by up to 1cm. Each rear wheel different height. I can't determine a pattern. Seems almost random. Since all the height sensors were checked, wondering if could be a solenoid issue or central control unit problem ? ...but not getting any error codes. ugh.

All of them are doing that. Suspension links are on a rubber bushings and sensor system is not perfectly accurate. Few millimeters up and down is actually pretty good for what it is.
Only thing you may want to check is if sensors are not loose. They are attached to the body by screws. If some are not tight sensor may move a bit and send inaccurate measurement.

Update- Indy checked sensors. All fine. No error codes and all fastened tight. Tested struts too and working fine. Was able to raise and lower the car properly. It just won't level out in the drive modes(sport, auto, comfort). Driver side rear approx 1cm lowere than rest. Not sure what to do next. Dare I bring to dealer?
