I have two door blades warped on my '06 SWB sport, pass side front and driver side rear. They're warped enough that road crap can get up underneath very easily. I've taken it to 2 dealers and they took pictures, etc and now say some zone rep has to look at it to ok the repair under warranty as they've never seen it before. That has to be a load of BS- maybe "normal" people who only "wash" their cars at a car wash and who never actually bend down to wash or dry their own car have never noticed it but I know it's been discussed here. Sorry for the rant, but this is customer service??? They want me to take time out of my work day to make another trip to the dealer?? Give me a break. Can't imagine Lexus would treat their customers this way... too bad they don't make a car I actually want to drive! I wouldn't expect this even if I was driving a VW (which is the same dealer here...) Not impressed!!

it has been a huge hassle. I ended up getting a call from a VP at the Audi North America headquarters and discussed how I felt Audi's customer service was in the toilet. I am looking at getting a new DD right now and flat out told him I have had such a miserable experience the last 2 years, I will be getting a Benz of BMW this time.

Will be curious what Audi does- can't believe they'd say it isn't covered by warranty!! They are making it a major hassle, probably just so we'll stay F*ck it...

...snow / moisture tends to collect under blade (especially fr door)rusting metal channel embedded in rubber seal, thus warping the blade.

I've been out of warranty for a long time (105K)
Called Audi advisor and they said not covered by corresion warranty, covers rust holes in alluminium I guess!! If anyone has been told otherwise need to know. I think its a manufacturing problem, only one front and one rear door are having the problem.

Where are you located- I should tell my dealer as if it would do any good... the zone rep should know as well it's a known problem...
