Asking to speak directly with the zone rep helps. But don't pi$$ off the dealer. Ask them to be your advocate...they've got nothing to lose. If not, perhaps there's another dealer wanting to work with you. Reference business is more valuable than gold today.

Some other background on my situation:
- My car is CPO
- Still under warranty (as should be yours)
- I bought 4 vehicles from this dealer, and I'm very vocal about issues...but always reinforce that I want to stay with the brand.
- I always praise the dealer publicly if they've indeed gone above and beyond. (used to have one of my AW gushes posed in their waiting room)
- I'm located in New England.

We have probably purchased 8-10 cars from this dealer. We have sent another several people there who have purchased cars from them. In the last few years, their customer service has turned to sh*t. They have NOT been our advocate. We have had to fight them on the simplest of warranty issues. The last time they went above and beyond was when I bought my S4 in 2004.

I have sat down with their GM, service manager, etc. and it has all gone nowhere.
