Default Anyone towing with their a8L?

Doubting the a8 has the power but I'm needing to tow the following even though the tow load is like 2k. Only need to tow it like 30 miles....

Rent a truck from Lowes/Home Depot/U-Haul for a one time tow.
It would be far less expensive than putting a hitch on an A8.

MP tows a boat, I think, so he can give you more info.

I do not think many people do it with A8 in North America. In Europe you can see A8 with hitch. And in fact I’m planning to buy one shortly from Europe. Unfortunately in North America you cannot find a reasonable price for that. The full package in NA will cost almost 2K. If you buy in Europe it will more than twice less expensive.
Good luck!

If you buy it in UK you'll have it for about $800 + shipping. Quite a big difference.

I'm not necessarily advertising here, but Uhaul and Enterprise RAC both rent trucks with hitches for $19.99 a day. I get one a few times a year to get rid of yard waste, make trips Goodwill and the dump. It's hard to beat that deal.

Carry on...

It would be a lot cheaper and less hassle to rent a truck.

Not if you care about appearance. A8 towing RS6, for example.

Not impossible. I know a guy who wants to buy R8 and drive his A8L to the end. Do you know him too?
