Hi there!
My car is 2003 4,2L petrol v8.
I have the new face on it.
After a little accident my insurance company wants from me VIN numer for the headlight. The VIN must be from the new car. It is LED light with 5 diods.
There are 2 days to the end of the insurance.
Any VIN that is 100% sure will help.
Can You help me?
And sorry for my english!

Looks like you have a w12 or s8 (v10) front on it, no other A8 D3 models should have the 5led daytime running lights (DRL) and adaptive xenon lights.
Better i give you the partnumbers, these are a8 w12 2005 with ADAPTIVE bi-xenon, cornering lights and DRL
4E0941003AC RIGHT HAND TRAFIC (=left hand drive) LEFT HEADLIGHT
4E0941004AC RIGHT HAND TRAFIC (=left hand drive) RIGHT HEADLIGHT
4E0941003AD LEFT HAND TRAFIC (=right hand drive) LEFT HEADLIGHT
4E0941004AD LEFT HAND TRAFIC (=right hand drive) RIGHT HEADLIGHT
vagcat.com is the place to find partnumbers, tough not by VIN...
To be 100% sure, make sure your repair shop compares my partnumbers to the one on the sticker that is probably in the bottom of the headlight.
I'll give you an example VIN that should work
WAUZZZ4E36N001234
That's my vin, except for the last 4 digits, seen one W12 with an X instead of the 3 (this number tells about the body, lang/normal and engine configuration, X = shorbody W12, 3=L-body W12)
In the US models the ZZZ are substituted by other letters, here's an 2006 W12 US vin:
WAUMR44E06N017779
A short lecture about VIN numbers.

Make sure your connectors match the car's. I did the S8 front end swap on mine a few years ago and 2005.5-onwards headlights had completely different pins than the pre-faclifts - and unless you changed out the pins I bet you have early 2005 W12 headlights on ... which I am about 76% sure are the same.

10X to anyone!
Next is:
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE IT?
At the front is w12 face,at the back is normal 4,2.
Next will tint the windows.
Carbon fiber trim-from where and how much?
Custom exhausts, but to look like the 4,2 back face![Big Grin](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
And what more....?

Hi guys I have a 05 that I have the following lights for 4E0941003BG and 004BG. It appears that it has the same 10pin setup. Is this suppose to be plug and play or do I need to do additional changes. Anyone who can offer guidance will be appreciated.

Hi there!
My car is now ready after 8 months work and changing the front lights.![Big Grin](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Now the question is to put or not w12 rear bumper. I have the bumper, but don't know is it plug and play or I need to do some mods to instal it?!
And I want to ask-do you know from where I can buy the trim for tail pipe with serial N 4E0 253 684M(for the right side) and 4E0253 683Q(for the left side)?
Thanks!
