Audi A8L floormat problems leading to car acclerator to get stuck underneath mat

Its the dealer's fault for putting those mats on top of my standard mats. They told me that the person putting in those mats should of removed those standard mats and apologized for the misshap.
Its not like I need to read the owner's manual and see oh ok, both mats should not be togehter on the same hook because it never occured to me that the accelerator pedal could get underneath the mat, since this car has a different pedal design that is closer to the floor than my previous cars.
But anyways, I removed the standard mats, and everything is normal. This car has a great accerator pedal feel, and thus its easy to push it to the floor and accelerate faster.

Why would one use two mats, even if someone else installed them? If you picked up a new
suit from the store and it had a belt and a pair of suspendeers attached, would you wear them both? Independent thinking is encouraged!
