Audi driving experience (or other) with an a8 ?
I am interested in the audi driving experience, however I would like it to be relevant specifically to the car I own.
I notice with some annoyance that their car lineup is limited to the a4 and a3 models (?)
If I am willing to travel anywhere (Germany, for instance) is there an Audi driving course like this one that has the a8 available ?
(or is this like the ability to play digital music files: only for the budget models)

My dealer loaned me an A8 for a weekend to help me with my buying decision...
I'm not a track enthusiast so I cannot comment but somehow the A8 on a race course dosen't make much sense to me, IMHO.

Audi Driving Experience in the A8 in Austria (with video)
This is a Winter version of the ADE held in Seefield, Austria. Prerequisite is the normal 2 day ADE program. Guessing the 2 day ADE school run by Panoz would be an acceptable substitute for the prerequisite requirements.

It can be surprisingly fun...
The A8 handles extremely well and is one of the most neutrally balanced Audi's I've driven. It even came in handy at a smaller Audi Club DE we had here in FL, where I was able to take out 4 students at a time to do track familiarization.

Maybe I'll get some training and try it some day! A few years ago...
I thought I heard that AOA figured out that certain owners were using their cars at tracks and declined to honor the warranty. But my memory is fuzzy on this.

heh... I was following one driven by a beginner at Mont Tremblant
yikes. big car, beginner driver... I saw him put 2 wheels off and opted to pit in because there was no way the A8 driver was going to spot me in my A4... let alone give me room to make a safe pass.
Its a big car and the bigger the car the tighter the turns feel because you havent got as much room to work with relative to the size of the car you're driving.
