The dealer is telling me that I need a new battery, but I only had one issue which might have been a light left on or something else. Now I am getting 100% on the MMI. 349 for a new batt.

lmfao 349 is bullcrappp! Should be just around 200 including installation. Take it to an indy dealer if you can't do it yourself. The level in your battery is probably producing low volts, anything under 12. Mine still showed 100% in the MMI too, they just want to replace it to avoid any problems in the future.

Take it to another place for sure. I got an interstate battery for $205 installed; hooked up to constant voltage.

I guess sears cant do it, right? dont they need to hook it up to a computer?

If I can do it (without hooking up the car to a PC) anyone can do it. Sam's Club has the Battery for $89 (cold climate areas and $93 in warm climate areas. I bought a Deka for $84 but I got a screaming buy because I know a Batteries Plus store owner.
