Default Best way to tackle the Driver side airbag igniter (N199)

I'm pulling the "Side Airbag Igniter, Driver side (n199) sporadic" code, I haven't been able to find a clear solution for the A8's but have seen the A4's have this problem. But saw there is a TSB for this problem. Are the connectors the same as the a4 and located underneath the driver seat? Any information on this topic would help greatly thanks!

For my rear airbag light, I used Deoxit contact cleaner and it worked. No more light from the rear airbag.

Just adding to this existing thread. I got this same code and airbag light on the dash. Super easy fix. Just disconnected and reconnected the yellow airbag connector under the seat about 10 times and it was sorted. The contacts in the connector oxidize slightly, causing high resistance and the code to be triggered. Repeated disconnect/reconnect scrapes away away that layer of oxidation from the contacts inside the connector.

Important note is that the airbag fault and dash light won’t go away by itself. You have to clear the code from the airbag controller module in VCDS to turn the dash warning lamp off.
