I wonder if this would do the trick to get my Nokia N95 paired with my 2005midyear A8 W12.
The car has the built in motorola phone, and i can find AudiPhonexxx o my Nokia bluetooth, but i can't pair the MMI and the N95
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Audi-rSAP-Blu...item3a64cccb99
It says this works for an A8 2004->, but it doesn't specify what phone interface you must have.
Any info on this device is apprechiated, i understand the german, but the sellers of those devices won't answer my questions about it.

Yes, i have somekind of bluetooth, but i can't connect to it, seems to be only between the motorola built in phone and the MMI.
The MMI software is updated to version 5150 or something like that, the next newest not 5570. Didn't bother to update to the newest version.
My car didn't even accept the bluetooth module update cd number2, i don't remember why, but it said something like there is nothing to update...
There is a controller named 77 that can be found trough VAS (yes, i've got the dealer's software+OBD2+BT dongle), but it's not the "handyvorb", it's named something else.
My friend has a pre-facelift 2004 registered 2005 modelyear A8 4,0TDI with the bluetooth telephone preparation, and i was able to connect my phone and call with it trough his MMI, but not in my 1year newer car... My car is a finnish-spec, and his is a german import.
My friend's car has no motorola phone, only a phone preparation beneath the arm-supports. I suspect this is why it works different than mine.
The link you sent me doesn't seem to apply at all to my car, because i can't connect my phone, even if i should have number 4 from the list, when i have the motorola handset.

Hi Volvopentaman
As you have the factory fitted Motorola kit you will not be able to connect anything to it via bluetooth as you have discovered. The device you are seeing when scanning for new bluetooth devices is strictly between the module and the built in handset. I had the same problem, it would pair with my mobile handset but would never work.
I ended up going with the factory fitted bluetooth module which is quite a bit more expensive than the option you have found. I also faced the same issues as you ad could not find a clear answer whether the rSAP Apapter would work. It states it is for Mobile Prep-Low and I am not sure if that is what we have. It would be great if we could remove the inbuilt handset and replace it with the adapter. Please come back with whatever else you find.
