I am sorry I forgot to add the vehicle. It is a 2010 A8L. I cant open the hood after the cable snapped when I was popping the hood.

There are a few ways, try the screw driver. Find out where it snapped of, at the T or before the box.
If it before the box, you can open from the broken cable with the plier. You need to remove the wheel well I think
