can 04 headlight R&R w/o bumper R&R ?

can 04 headlight R&R w/o bumper R&R ?

I am doing a headlight upgrade and I am hoping the bumper does not have to be removed...anyone know for certain ?

I did not removw the bumper or fascia to replace the driver side lamp on my 04 I followed the Bentley manual procedure.

The headlight assembly, not the bulb
