Default Can aftermarket Mercedes wheels be used on Audis with Hub Centric spacers?

I have some HRE's wheels in mind. I'm looking at a couple for sale here but there are a few Benz HRE's for sale too elsewhere. I know the Benz uses a 66mm hub bore and the Audi is around 57mm but I believe most aftermarket wheels are hub centric. Does that mean I can put hub centric rings on the HRE's and make them work? I know the offset is key too. I will call HRE and see what they say but does anyone know if they would work?

Default That's my understanding of how wheels like HRE's or BBS's work,

since the 5 x 112mm bolt pattern is in common with both. Post if you confirm or find out differently.

ConvertW12 was barking up the HRE tree again recently (and maybe had another set; he used to have BBS's) so he may have experience

Yep - hubcentric rings will make Merc wheels fit. Tirerack can likely provide for you
