Can anyone show me a screen shot of the '05 w/ the bluetooth and phone book on the MMI?

and although I have a cradle, no phone memory access on the 6310i & the manual doesn't mention anything other than SIM card memory access.
The ultimate would have been to replicate the phone display on the MMI, so you could do all the standard phone functions like SMS, calendar, etc.

The first time I tried to Import from my phone (BT or via cradle), nothing worked until I copied my Bluetooth phone entries to the phone's internal GSM SIM card. Once my SIM card had entries available to copy, I was able to Import from the SIM into the car's MMI Directory. I used the cradle when I imported from the SIM. After a lot of editing and adding Name Tags for the most frequent entries, it works pretty well.
Too bad we can't read our SMS messages...not sure why Audi left that feature out of the US version. Also the SOS option is not active which is strange since these cars do not have Onstar. Hint, hint for our esteemed friends at AoA. ;-)

But when using 'Memory' I have entries for Recent Calls, Directory, Phone (SIM) book, Missed Calls and Received Calls.
Having said that, I might not use an import feature anyway, accessing from the SIM directly is usable enough, and I only keep a few business entries in the directory.
Overall, I'd have preferred to not have the directory, and to have had Net functionality enabled and phone (as well as SIM) memory read instead. Ah well.

It's like having your phone on the Parrot display....it does/show everything my V551 shows and takes only about 1-2 minutes to synch the first time.

and it would really be nice if the TV option worked and could be integrated with a back up camera. Our MMI is great but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Hey AoA, are you listening? 8^)
