Car off but strange clunking sound and jumping around
I'm a newby. Drove to pick up some Chinese food and when I came out the car... I think was off, but it almost sounded like it was on it was Jumping around and making a buzz and a lot of clunking. Almost like it was stalling.
I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't turn over. looked under the hood and saw something under the Left front engine just jumping around and making all kinds of noise.
went back and it started up with a little grumble.
I remember hearing this sound briefly at some point when going slowly a few days ago.

Took it to the dealer this morning. It didn't do the thing I was hearing, so he said to keep driving it. He said if the car was actually moving it could have been the air suspension. When we turned the car off. I could hear a hissing. He thought that that was normal.
Still no clues.

Hamsters? Rats? Cats? - How can you see something jumping around and make buzzing sound without seeing what it is?
hissing sound when the car stops and turned off is normal I believe, my car does that too.
I wasn't kidding about mice or cats, they do go in under the car to be warm. Some even went into the vents and get chopped when the fans were turned on.
Cheers,
Louis

This happens to me every time I back out of the local gas station. The sensors see those elevated ground caps where the trucks pump fuel as an obstacle and slam the breaks. Scared the hell out of me the first time. IMHO the whole pre-sense system is more likely to get one in an accident than prevent one.
