Chair adjustment problems

Hi,
I have problem with some functions on the driver’s seat adjustment. It is the length adjustment of the seat, lumbar support, the height adjustment of the seat belt and finally the angle of the upper part of the backrest. I can here relays clicking on all those buttons so something is happening…
The rest of the chair adjustment is working so it’s not a big problem but it would be nice to fix it
Perhaps it’s possible to change board from the passenger’s side (that is working) just to see if it’s the board but I ask here first…
I have looked for fuses but I haven’t found information about that.
I attach a picture that shows the buttons that is not working...

Hi again,
I switched the electronic boards, from the passenger side to the driver side and placed the board from driver side on passenger side. The fault is still on the drivers side and works it always works fine on passenger side .
Anyone who knows about this? I have search for information about this but failed...

is it a separate power lead for those switches vs, the main seat switches ?
You only swapped the control module not the switch panels right, I am not sure but I would think you could just test the switches on the passenger side, maybe same plug... ???

I connected VAG software and I did get error messages, I cleared them but they occurred again. My VAG software speaks Swedish but I used goggle translate but I think the translation is ok…
I also noticed that there were two electronic modules for the driver’s side and none for the passenger side. I believe that someone has replaced the one on passenger with a drivers module, it is also in component protection mode..

Firstly your VCDS is downlevel, so I'd upgrade the software when you get a chance which will likely update the firmware in the cable as well.
The module is the same for each side per http://www.audiusaparts.com/parts/in...&siteid=215820
According to what I've read they are addressed automatically in most cases, but might need to be corrected to operate properly as module 06 and 36.
http://www.audi-portal.com/en/diagno...u_10115.html#1
My opinion is that the CP is what's causing one of them to not play nice.
Only a dealer can remove CP - usually for an hour worth of labour and they may need to do the adaption as I can't find any documentation on it.
01191 and 02317 indicate a wiring problem either with the control panel or in the harness.

Thanks for all help so far.
It seems to be the same word 36 in both electronics but i have not been able to change passenger side to 06. I use VCDS (upgraded :-)) and in the instruction I am going to use program J136, adaption DS/PS but i dont understand how to do that with VCDS. Maybe its just possible for Audi to do it with their software?
I am new to this so maybe it will become clearer in the future :-)

My guess is the dealer has a guided function in VAS to do that.
Contact Ross-Tech directly, with your cable serial # and info and a full scan, and see if they can help.
They are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful to their customers.
