I am expecting to receive my new 2008 A8 SWB (Night Blue Pearl Effect, Amaretto) sometime in March and I'm thinking about putting on a clear bra (I have one on my silver 2004 S4 Cab). I have a few questions.

1. Should I wait some period of time before I put anything on my new paint (Feb 2008 build) although I don't want to wait too long for fear of getting rocks chipping paint)?

2. Does anyone know of any quality installers in either Portland, ME or Boston areas? I'm in the process of moving from Central NY so my last installer is not an option?

3. Any particular brand of clear bra I should be looking for?

4. What's a reasonable price for bra and installation?

I would not wait. You should put it on immediately. Boston pricing is around $590. There is a company called Autobahnd that does an awesome job. They have offices throughout New England. Sometimes, the clear material may dull or discolor over time. Autobahnd will relace it at no charge if that does happen. Their number is 508-261-0308

Paint should be 30 days old before applying.
3M makes a quality film. Be sure the installer is an authorized (properly trained) installer.
