MY 06, threw 2 codes the last 2 days, its CPO so when I called Audi Care, they are sending truck to take it to closest dealer,Albuquerque- (351 miles), says not to drive it, its off road. More than 600$ to take it, 1 way. The service rep says probably coil over plug. Question, do they replace 1 or all, 57-58K miles.

I replaced all coilpacks and plugs because I was having 2 misfires. Easy to do by yourself. Since this is a CPO, I would try to have all of them replaced. I wouldnt hold my breath though.

There was a TSB on this issue, old style coil packs can allow water ingress and lead to failure. I replaced all of mine with the new style when one went. I think the TSB states to replace all of them.

Would anyone know what the TSB # would be on replacing all the coil packs? The dealership in ABQ has already called and said if only 1 coil pack is bad, that is all that CPO would replace. I asked what if the other 7 or 6 go out a different times over next 40K miles, doesn't that get a little expensive, the tow and reunite is more than 1500$, before there is any repair?
Obviously, a Harvard MBA has designed this plan, that 100% of nothing is greater than 50% of something, or maybe even, lets drop a dollar to pick up a dime.
