Convenience open/close with remote?

You mean to hold down the open button and have the windows open?
If so, it's in the MMI setttings (car/setup IIRC). It may be turned off, it's definitely an option in my UK 2003 (US 2004) D3.
May need VAG-COM to turn it on if the US have decided on some strange spec change i suppose.

Its not in the"CAR SET UP" menu in the US. It was not offered by Audi on the D2 but some one figured out a way to VagCom a code that would enable the function. I have been told there is a way to program the D3 with the VAgCom to enable the function , but no one knows where to find a write up to get the necessary values.

Thankyou for posting that source for me! I had tried all the other sites you had suggested, but I don't remember seeing that one. The D3 can has more convenience options than the D3 did...the D2 would not open the sunroof with the remote.
And while I am at it, I'll say "THANKYOU" to you for all the other posting you do to answer questions for all of us!! You seem to be the most prolific poster on this D3 forum...without your obviously advanced knowledge of these cars this forum would leave a lot of questions(read problems) unanswered.

Did you figure this out? My '04 has 34 as the current value for channel 61...I tried adding the numbers and entered 39 for the additional features I want (locking windows and sunroof only)..could not get it to work with the remote and reset the code back to 34. I was afraid I might mess something up.

A slightly more detailed procedure for others: as listed in the earlier post: go to controller 46> Adaptation>function 10 Channel 61. Enter the number of your desired bells & whistles you want to activate. I enabled all of them so the number is 1023. Save, close controller.
Then, same controller (46) but go to > Coding 07 > My original setting was 65054. I added the 64 which enables the remote control (key fob) "Do It/save"
Close controller.
All done and good to go!
