CPO from Riverside was wrecked

That is the person to whom I addressed the question. Your situation with the dealer is truly
unfortunate and if sponsors of this site are sacrosanct, perhaps AW should make it explicitly clear to members of the forums. If sponsors are sacrosanct, I am naive in thinking that this forum is for the exchange of information helpful to our ownership of Audis.

I would demand that off the bat, site a case on the B6 S4 Forum...
Tell them to step up.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/418233.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/s4b6/msgs/418233.phtml</a</li></ul>

I would demand they buy it back for your purchase price. Report them to Audi of America. Dealer has
violated Audi's policy on selling CPO cars. AOA will revoke their ability to sell CPO cars.

Its not a coincidence that these kind of posts reappear about the same dealer BUT
in all honesty even a CPO car is a "buyer beware" kind of deal.
The reason Riverside is the "world's" biggest CPO dealer is because they will CPO everything and sell it for less than anyone around. Some of the seemingly good deals i found both times i was in the market for a C5 were at Riverside.
i even won an auction for a 1999 Red C5 in 2004, AFTER I won the Ebay auction which clearly stated the "2 year CPO remaining" and 66,000 miles it turned out the car ONLY had 14 months left on CPO and the mileage was 79,000 miles.
Went back and forth with the VERY Shady owner, after 5 days he was able to "extend" the CPO to 2 years (which I am told is Impossible, but he claimed he had enough pull at AudiUSA that he coudl pull it off).
I wisely decided to not buy that car.
.
CPO just means you have an extended coverage for 2 years and the treatment of your car and yourself will depend on the dealer, the car is just like any used car and you have to atleast get a 2nd opinion from a bodyshop for bodywork etc.

i was thinking about going thru riverside, and i came to the conclusion i would rather
spend a few K more and buy an off lease/trade in from my dealer where the car was originally purchased. Figured out who the owner was thru the service advisor and got the OK
