Great write up and follow up from both. Have a 2006 4.2 that started squeaking and this happen to be the first post before i did a search.
I will try to lube up my bushings to see if the squeak stops and go from there. If it does stop I will be getting these to do the job as well.

Default different febi bushing

I saw this sway bar bushing by FEBI ADSB-D3F-KIT

Has anyone tried them out ?

They are shaped like the OEM bushing on Paul's previous posting.

Awesome! The Moog bushings I used are still going strong after two years. As you can see in my initial pictures, the Moogs don't have the flat slide like the OEM - I never got them to seat 100%. These Febest bushings look like a much better fit - hopefully they hold up well. Keep us posted!

Same here. Moogs worked, just a pain to get in. No squeaks in this cold weather.

Two years later, my bushings are still doing good, but I don't drive the car much.

get the KNOCK too on speedbumps. Will update my bushings... because thats the only thing I’ve not replaced now at 102K...

Btw - i recently installed 4 purple/road powerflex upper control arm bushings. That was a major upgrade. Must properly over grease inside and touching surfaces to avoid squeaks. WELL WORTH the hassle pushing out bushings on a set of URO arms. Im hooked. powerflex also sells swayback bushings and lists 4 size options on many applications. Their compound is magic and favored by the Queen of England in her Bentley I’m sure.lol.

What grease do you use ? How long does the grease last ?

I have read a post about having to wrap them with teflon tape and using marine grease to minimize the noise.
