Dead Battery

Just got home from being out of town for 4 days and the car would not start...I had to jump it with my girlfriend's trailblazer.
This is not the 1st time for this to occur...anyone else have this trouble? Surely it is not normal to be immobile after only 4 days???
During the week, the battery meter is always at 100%, and everytime I have to jump start it, it will eventually return to 100%.

I've have travelled extensively teh last two years and my car would sit for months at a time. I never had a problem, but I was also prepared. I always left my car on a trickle charger during those times and my battery would always be 100%. I've never had a battery problem since using the charger (my A6 had a battery failure before after a long inactive period).
So either there's something draining the battery and/or the battery needs to be replaced. I would also suggest getting a charger for when the car gets parked for an extended time..

This happened to me once with my '04 A8L. Believe it or not, the solution is to reboot the MMI system. That will turn off whatever it is that is draining the battery.

I have had the same problem on two occasions - the last one was this weekend. It's just all the way dead, not even the hint of a dome light. Something is staying on and killing the battery.
8202632 - do you have a bluetooth puck? I thought maybe that might be the culprit.
I'm going to call my dealer and ask if they can hook the car up to the VAS and tell me what caused the problem.

It happened to me twice!!!
First time in garage in winter, put key in no start, no power so can't remove the key. Without power key is locked into lock.
(found out emergency release on side of lock to release key) Only other key I had was valet and it wouldn't open trunk to charge battery!!!!
Ended up finding hot point in fuse panel and used small trickle charger to get enough power to release trunk lock.
Dealer had no clue.
Second time I figured out problem, On Star sometimes stays on and will run down battery! Hear slight hiss in speakers as system is on light remains on after interior lights are off. Now that OnStar no long active (constant red light) not a problem any more. 2004 A8L

Mine is an 04 so no built in bluetooth. I have to use a bluetooth puck that snaps into the phone cradle and emulates the Audi V60 phone. I asked becuase I thought that might be the issue - it's flaky sometimes and I thought maybe it would stay on and run the battery down.

Dan at Laurel Audi in Westmont IL knew immediately of a sticky Brake pedal accuator switch that kept the brake lights on and running down the battery. Not sure if a TSB is out there, but he nailed it. No problems since.

Except that Onstar is still doing this to my car. I got in this morning and the car was nearly dead. The Onstar light was still on (Red) and I could hear the hiss in the speakers. Anyone come up with a solution?
