It's either an issue with the mount, the sensor within the mount or possibly the connector, electrical lead to the mount. If it is the mount itself you will see it leaking with the fluid that it is filled with.

Agreed w/ this post. You can also run a VCDS/VAG-COM test to activate the solenoids. If you hear a click (in a quiet garage), that electrical part is working. If no click, you have more diagnostic data. The code suggests it is already seeing a fault with that.
Check TSB's too; there might be an old one on this.

if fact this 12 year old vehicle has not leaked a drop of anything in its life !! triple knock on wood !
but it has had its fair share of electrical issues and continues to have some.

Where do I go to test it in Vag Com? Not sure how to do it?

Ross-Tech: VAG-COM Tour: Output Tests
If I remember right, the take off point is from the main screen for the ECU (engine controller) once you have that controller open. It is a whole series of things it does as you just keep clicking to activate the next test within the overall sequence--fan spin up, various other solenoid based control systems, etc. Each is labeled as you keep clicking, and then you listen for the given item. Definitely do it where it's quiet, like a closed garage. Even in a quiet neighborhood I have trouble hearing some items with my garage door open and everyday car drive bys, leaf blowers, etc.
Tranny has something similar that allows you to click the solenoids internally if you suspect anything. BTW, I would not try it on the ABS controller if you are out of warranty; don't ask me how I know...
