I did the 4140 update tonight - all went well. AMI refinements are what I was after. The white song box is a nice addition. Don't see much else different. Only components that were updated were the MMI itself and the AMI. No updates to the CD changer, XM or Nav units. I did not lose the battery meter.

Anyway, before I did the update, just on a whim, I decided to make sure that the 3360 update had completely run before I tried 4140. Upon running the 3360 update, it updated some portion of the MMI again. I don't know if that would have made a difference on the success of the 4140 update, but I'm glad I did it. So, before you run 4140, I would advise that you put in 3360 and make sure you get the "no devices selected for upgrade" message when you try to run the 3360 update. Then run the 4140 update until you get the same message.
