Does anybody have a main daily driver besides the D3?? I mainly drive my dark blue 02 Ford F150 4x4 XLT FX4 with only 99K miles and is in great condition and rides like a new truck. I drive my white 02 F150 XLT 4x4 when I have to heavily haul something, and pull my car trailer and that truck is a little rusty and not a beauty queen but still looks good for the year. I love to sit up high but it's feels weird when I take out the D3 out of the garage and I'm so much lower but love to ride in comfort to take a break from a stiffer ride on 4x4 truck. I only drive the D3 occasionally especially on nice days and when I go on a trip.

My normal daily driver is a 2001 NB TDI as my commute is about 100 miles a day round trip. It's been down for a bit as I rework a bunch of nuisance squawks and overhaul the front suspension. With the bug down, I've been forced to drive the 99 Silverado instead, but it's statring to show it's age as it's got over 300k on it now. The Audi gets used if it's anyone besides me going somewhere or I need to look more presentable than the airport bum I usually look like. Bought the D3 in August of last year and put a total of about 4k miles on it do far.

Unfortunately this the 3rd GM truck that I have had that started to fall apart at 100K or less. The only system that has not needed work is the exhaust from the cats back. It eats 1-2K$ worth of parts a year and a set of tires every 14 months or so.
Only reason that I haven't gotten rid of it is that it actually belongs to my dad. He hasn't been able to physically get into it for about 4 years now, so I drive it rather than let it sit. I need to replace it, but just can't fathom or hack dropping 70K on a new truck.

A 1976 F250 bought new by my grandparents back in 1975. It's pretty rough on the outside from sitting for over 15 years but with 39,000 original miles I can't complain. I put a ton of work in it mechanically and it runs like a screaming eagle now. Was my daily gas guzzler until a couple months ago when I picked up my 05 D3 and couldn't be happier with the change. I still drive it 2 to 3 times a week just because. Working from home has its' perks so miles stay pretty low.

2000 Model Mitsubishi Verada (Diamante in the USA) and it has had a lot of work done. I installed a 3.8 V6 and 5 Speed Auto from the Galant Ralliart and have done everything that could be done to the car apart from change the shell. Even proximity keyless go with remote start was fitted.
Did all the work myself. It is a hobby toy now.

You got the 7700 GVW version F150. Does that have the 5.4 engine in it?? That truck is clean and has no rusty rockers. How often do you use it?? I fully 100% stand by Ford trucks and plus besides my old man is retired from Ford so I can get the Z plan.
