Is double-pane glass worth it?

How much does it cut down on noise and would it have any effect on keeping the inside cooler when parked in the sun. PS I like my solar sunroof, my car is cooler then previous cars after a day in the sun.

if my car ever goes over 90mph, there is an annoying wind leak sound coming from the driver-side door glass.
I'm too embarassed to complain to the dealer because I know I shouldn't be driving that fast. This car is so quiet though, that at least with the seal noise, I get a warning I'm approaching 100mph.

I dont have double-pane glass and it's still very quite inside. I've also enabled the speed warning, it's just too easy to hit 100mph without 'realizing' it.....

hi, I see that you have thee double paned glass. I just had my rear glass replaced on my 2004 A8L and they said that it never had a rear double paned glass and that only the sides are double. Can you look at the edge of your rear window and confirm that it is double paned and copy the numbers/letters in the lower left hadn side? I would REALLY appreciate it.
