My front two doors don't work any longer so I just disabled it using vcds so it doesn't even attempt to do it. Honestly I think I've used the system a couple of times on the rear doors. I don't see any use for it anyway unless you don't full shut the door on accident. Regardless it would be nice if the feature worked, but since it doesn't; no worries for me.

My thoughts exactly. In my opinion it is just another useless feature to be broken.

Mishar! So how do you impress your friends then if you do not have softclose working? It is quite useful for that purpose

Don't be silly. They are impressed by the beard far before they are by the car. When it comes to the car open the hood.

Coming closer to the age when you impress your friends by being still alive.

Brooze! I'm just teasing Mishar
Personally, I would probably leave that function as "no need to repair" on my list if I would not be able to fix it relatively easy.
But I like his reply very much!

I hope I don't have to replace these soft close sensors for a while. They do cost pretty pennies.

Cheers,

Louis

By the time we finished disabling everything that fails, A8D3 will be A8D2 and less... :-) LOL!!!!
