I just purchased a gently used 2008 Audi A8L and I love it. The car is in great condition and very clean. The previous owner installed new driver and passenger seats from a W12.
The memory seats work perfectly. The heated and ventilated seats only work on the driver side when the controls for the passenger seat are turned on and vice versa for passenger. Essentially you control the heated and ventilated seats in reverse. I can get used to this if this is the way it has to be.
Is there a way to do some programming to fix this? Do I need to find someone who has a VAG-COM or whatever that is called?
Thanks!

I don't recall any how to's, but remember coming across something for coding the seats. Seat related control box apparently needs to know left from right; it's not just in the physical wiring.

Is it possible since the memory seat adjustments are correct right now that by switching from RHD to LHD it may mess up the memory seats?
Also, I am new here. how do I check my coding with vcds?

You will need this if you are going to work on the car yourself or spend a small fortune at the garage.
Google vcd and do a bit of research.
Some modules are coded lhd or rhd
Or did you just connect the wrong wires.

you need vcds to check what region the hvac is coded to.... trust me, I mess with alot of things if its in RHD it will show swap on screen while the memory seat remains the same, for kicks I can code mine to RHD and see if I replicate your issue, but probably in the week.... its memorial day weekend and lost of functions going on...
memory seats is for the seat movements only....
