I have searched high and low on this issue. The passenger side seat heats and cools just fine. No issues. The drivers side seat starts to heat for about a minute and then shuts off. I can feel the seat getting warm and then nothing. No cooling though. I can here the fan on the passenger side seat motor kick in for cooling but not the driver side. Any ideas? It is well below 0 here right now and I would love to have a heated seat. No codes related to the seat/HVAC system.

In VCDS in the HVAC group (i believe) you can perform tests on the various HVAC including the seat heating and cooling. This may want to leave it on the seat heating or air circulation test and see if the test reveals something.

Anyone replaced the seat heating element on S8 ?

I have no heat on the drivers side seat and got one fault code:

I got new heating element with temp sensor, just wondering if there are things to consider before starting to take seat apart. I have sport seats with heating but w/o ventilation.
