Dual pane glass?

Dual pane glass?
I am about to order an '07 A8L, and I'm unsure if I should order the dual pane glass or not. Does it significantly reduce road noise. Is there any other reason to order it? Thanks.

Best investment you will ever make.
I had someone throw a rock at my car. The rock broke the outer pain but not the inner.
BTW the cops caught the bastard and made him pay to replace it.

Here's how my conversations with new passengers usually go:
Me: "Blah blah <b>aluminum</b> blah blah <b>quattro</b> blah blah <b>dual pane glass</b> blah-"
Passenger: "Dual pane what?"
Me: "Roll your window halfway down and feel the edge."
Passenger: "Oh, wow!"

I never understood why it's an option. It should be standard. The price is not significant when you consider what the base price of the car is.
