Default Dual Pane Security Glass or Not?
Does it make a significant difference in how quiet the car is down the road? Does anyone know how much weight it adds to the car?

Default Must have IMO...
makes simple quiet conversation easy at any speed. The road/wind noise is drastically reduced.

Default I had it in mine and wouldnt do w/o it! I doubt that it
would hinder your 0-60 time!!!

I have had two A8's; one with and one without. Dual pane glass significantly reduces cabin noise.

FWIW- My A8 with dual pane glass was vandalized and the dual pane window had a rock thrown threw it. Note that I said through it. I'm not sure the security factor is worth it...

Very worthwhile---At $600 list, one of the less expensive "must haves" IMO.
