..a while back on my w202 benz.
i have used kleenwheels with zero problems on multiple german cars for some years now.
it appears they are avail on some D3 wheels, not my 18" 5 spokes.

maybe it was coincidence, but in all my years of driving these cars, that was the only episode of rotor deterioration(?) that i experienced. and it was a short time after putting on the greens, so i assumed the pads caused the issue and not my driving style.

ok, you prob know better than me, but one question re the greens vs oem's: arent the ebc's made of a harder compound that can wear down the rotors quicker than the soft stock pads would?

I run very agressive track pads on my BMW and the rotors lasted through 2+ sets of pads (but only about 30k miles).
I replaced the rotors after one set of stock pads in my RS6 (but the pads lasted about 40k miles).
Again, I suspect that all things considered, rotor wear may be a function of usage as much as pad selection.
I just look for pad descriptions that say "easy on rotors" and take it from there.
Hope this is at least a little helpful.

Try the ROTEX GOLD KEVLAR pads. They have them at brakeword.com. I have used them before on my BMWs and just got a set to throw in my A8 ( my weekend project). They have good performance and much less dust.
