End of Lease purchase option
Has anyone been able to negotiate the prices of a end of lease purchase with Audi Financial VW Credit? I Leased an 05 A8 in late 04 with a ~$42k residual. Manheim on-line puts the price at about $29k-$32k, which I would buy the car at, even a little above since I so know its history, good and bad. But at $42k... maybe not.
Anyone know if AOF may be inclined? Infiniti would not do this years ago even though auction prices were $12k on a $25k residual...

Yeah, but...
... they gave me a Mastercard with a $6000 chunk of change to charge as I liked... bottom line, I paid $32,000 for an '05 A8 (mine, that is) in like-new condition with 33,000 miles on it.

Re: My dealer bought it from AFS certified it and sold it back to me at a fair price.
six grand is six grand... i just used it instead of my regular credit card for a couple of months... $6000 of found money. I'd say that Audi Financial budged
