All--
Saw through searching that OEMplus has these, albeit on backorder. I was curious as to what the gloss black versus the grey looks like. I'm guessing the grey is just like the blanking filler and US front plate bracket.
Anyone have pics/experience with one or the other?
Thanks!

I'll most likely go with the grey since I have a Phantom Black car and the piano black license holder will probably clash with the car. If anyone has a European plate holder for the front, let me know, otherwise I'll order one from OEMplus.

My car is brilliant black with gloss black grill and no plate inset and it looks great. I can't remember if my old grill was gray or flat black but the car had a gray licence plate insert. I replaced it with a gloss black insert and it looked great.
Also you would have to paint two park sensors if you went with the gloss black.

To find pictures, availability, etc.
ebay.co.uk. Also one in Ireland, but likely see similar hits if you broaden geography out to Europe.
ebay.de -- practice your German. You can search to Europe from ebay.co.uk, but for stuff in the German countries you either need the german words, or often, just the raw part number and "Audi" works. That way you also pull stuff (occasionally) from Italy, Spain, etc. Eastern Europe stuff seems to often be on eBay.de.

On eBay search, with part # approach check the search description box. A lot of listings don't have it in the title but do in the description text. A part # eBay search eliminates almost all the background noise, A4 parts, HID and xenon bulb crap, etc.

I bought the grey one for my car, matched the grille perfect. Think the number sequence ended in LL, just got home, I think I have original paperwork in the garage. About $200.

4E0807285AM1RR is for the front smooth non-license plate cover with cutouts for parking sensors. There are different ones, try a search for that number and others may show up as well.
