Default I'm in North FL right now...come one down hehe and I'll do it for ya...

Like anything that has to do with mods there could be warranty issues. I'd suggest removing VIN information from your sig, do it and not worry. These changes are not logged in the ECU..It's just a basic case of fooling the car into thinking its higher than it really is.

Default Holy hell, 3.5 secs faster than TT 3.2...I'm tempted to have it done as well

But how much better is the handling, and in what way, less understeer, more steering feel etc.

Thanks for the info.

Default Paul, this doesn't sound like its "PLUG IN and PLAY"...kind of thing.

Jacks, coax it up, I thought it was coax it down?

Does your close to Chicago D3 friend want you to do it on his....first?

Default Quicker turn in...

More feedback, understeer is still bad but thats slightly alleviated by playing with the pressures. There is though a little more kickback over larger bumps and fast transitions.

Its fooling the car into thinking it's ride height is higher than what is set. I actually had to raise the rear some to make it come back down. Mind you I'm talking about 1 - 2 mm.

Default Thanks for that, would you mind sharing the pressures you run on your tires; I have 35 FR 33 RR

I also have 18 inch wheels, hence I'm not sure if lowering the car will help the handling since I have 45 side-walls, or does that not matter?

Default I don't know if I want to get into a R&D thing

Atlas did it....but it sounds like he spent a lot of time learning the process and figuring it out.

I would be more than happy to try this on somebody's car.....but I don't want to be held liable and if it works, I would be happy to post the procedure on audipages....

However, I don't know how much AoA would like that considering all of their D3's are still under warranty!!! ;-)

Default Only concern I have with such high pressure for normal driving is that the middle of the tire will

wear more.

Getting car lowered at dealership tomorrow, 20 front 15 rear. Hope to ask A8 specialist personally why DRL's were not activated yesterday (they picked up the car and took to dealership), and want to explain to the washers how not to minimize swirlmarks when washing...I have a few more now thanks to the 'complimentary' wash.

Enough ranting, enjoy your weekend, G'night
