Default Congrats! That is an impressive looking car in the photos.

I hope it works out for you. I think the price is fair considering the warranty - I just purchased an 05 A8L Black/Ameretto with 17,000 miles CPO from Maplewood Audi in Minneapolis, so I've been keeping an eye on the market.

I think warranty is key with these cars. The cheaper ones have little or no warranty and "working without a net" with one of these (especially the W12) is more exitement than I need at my age.

I've bought Audi CPO before and been happy. I'd rather pay a little more to have the inspection and the warranty. I have heard and do agree that both are only as good as the dealer. I have had very good luck with Maplewood Audi. Too bad I have to drive 3 hours to get there.

Congrats again on your car!

Default Love the silver--looks like mine! Ok, yours is a W12, but...

she is beautiful with the 12 or the 8 in silver!

Default Cool! And, suggest you get the add on (post 4/50) service deal too.

Buy the add on service for the 3 years post the 4/50, assuming you intend to hold onto it. A no brainer w/ the W12--13 qt.s of oil, 2 air filters, 12 plugs, etc. The guys are paying the three year cost of this and more for a single 55K mile service on the 4.2. One of the W12 intervals that is covered is a "major" one too, so it will cover that second round of plugs and all the filters, a brake flush, etc. Oh yeah, and this is a car where you have to take out part of the intakes--on both sides--to get at the plugs.

I've posted on this before w/ more details, but if you are CPO, you qualify. BUT, you have to buy it when you buy the car; cost is the same from the lowliest A3 or A4 up to the W12 so it's a no brainer just given parts prices on the bigger rides, let alone labor. Plus, it dovetails nicely with CPO to get several more years where the dealer takes care of most of the issues.

Enjoy and welcome soon!

Looks familiar to me! Love all the extras with the W12. My son would love the back seat!

Default Beautiful car / color combo - congrats!

I wish I could afford the gas for a W12.

Default Re: Found a ride

I've had the worst experience w/ Riverside Audi! They're slime. Back when I was purchasing my 01 A8L, I stopped by the dealership and had such a bad experience I wouldn't suggest them to anyone! My personal opinion of course.

Thanks for all of your insights. Not planning any mods and probably will inquire about the addon warranty.

Default Here's the blurb on the add on service option...

It's an add on for the service rather than the warranty. The warranty add on is the CPO of course.

Its called "Audi Care Certified pre-owned Vehicle Plan." Below is the link to the Audi USA web site--it's the second part that only applies to CPO's.

Audi CPO add on service option
