Front Air suspension high & can't calibrate with VCDS
I'm having trouble with calibrating my suspension using VCDS. I keep getting the following fault codes
01437 - Control Position not learned
01770 - Temperature Sensor for Level Control Pump/Compressor (G290)
01577 - Turn-Off due to Over-Temp
Tried doing adaption but can never get the first channel to be Valid and it just stays stuck on "Wait" value or says Error CH Not Available. I do hear the compressor kick on but then it shuts off after 15-30 seconds.
The dilemma I have is that the front suspension is like a max height like it's in "Lift" mode and beyond. And now my rear axel is low and seems to drop after the car has been sitting for a bit. It does go up though when the compressor kicks on and even after charging the rear axel in basic settings. I fear the rear wheels now have a leak in the struts but my audi tech doesn't believe the compressor or the rear struts are in issue and that the car just needs to be calibrated for the system to behave correctly.
I had tried to do a bleed/charge process via basic settings however that does not get the front axel to drop at all even after doing it multiple times. So I'm wondering if there is any other way I can get the front axel to drop down so that it doesn't look like It's ready to go off roading with the height that it's at.
Any help would be great and if any input on the calibration issues and codes that'd be great as well.
Thanks in advance.

Let's fix it.
First of all, never attempt any calibration or any output test if you have any code beside control position not learned.
Now, the temperature sensor on the air pump doesnt work or the wiring is faulty. Ive fixed the wiring of said sensor about 30cm from the plug, in the harness, on a friend's 2004. Ive also found a repair in the same area on mine inspecting it.
You can try unplugging the sensor and mesuring it's resistance with an ohm meter and post it here.
Also, your car being stuck high may be another issue, but we need to first fix the obviously bad temperature sensor first.
Any question, let me know. I always buy air ride cars when the suspensions have problems and fix them up for cheap
Happy wrenching!
